Access to safe, comprehensive reproductive health care
If, when, and how someone decides to have a child should always be a private, personal decision. Patients deserve the freedom and autonomy to make their own decisions about reproductive health care, including pregnancy, miscarriage management, abortion, contraception, fertility care, childbirth and postpartum care, and beyond. Hospitals, clinics, and medical professionals must be able to provide all patients with the full spectrum of reproductive health care. Patients also deserve access to health care providers, including pharmacists, who are able to provide them with the care they want or need without politicians getting in the way.
The harm caused by Missouri’s abortion ban
I believe reproductive freedom is a fundamental right. Politicians have no business interfering with a person’s private, personal medical decisions, nor a health care professional’s ability to provide comprehensive health care for their patients. In 2024 we passed Amendment 3 to enshrine Reproductive Freedom in our State’s constitution and the Republican Supermajority is trying everything in their power to stop the people’s vote from taking effect. I have been and will continue to be an advocate at in House for the people’s vote and the rights to our own bodies.
